Getting around the island

Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) is on the south coast.

Barbados drives on the left.

Blue government (Transport Board) buses, yellow private buses and white ZR route vans cover most routes for a flat fare.

Taxis do not use meters; agree the fare before you set off.

Roads close for parades on festival days, so plan extra time.
